This is a game music development company which also does audioprogramming. They were mostly known for C64 Game Music in the past but are now into many other systems including video game consoles.

The Silicon Edge
This page offers audio samples (in MPEG-Audio format) and also midi archives of various games plus some links. The samples are of course only excerpts. If you want to hear it all, play the game(s)! This site is getting updated quite often so keep checking.

The Fat Man Featured Games
The Fat Man is a synomym for a group of music composers, which are specialized in computer games. On the above page, they offer a large variety of sound samples from their projects including The 11th Hour or Nascar Racing.

The unofficial Konami Home Page
This is a great resource for all Konami-fans around the world. It contains a whole bunch of information concerning Konami games. There's also a page which contains midi and wav files from the Konami MIDI Power Pro CD. There you can find music from Twin Bee, Parodius, Castlevania (Akumajo Dracula), Xexex and Snatcher.

This commercial page belongs to a mail order company which sells arcade and video game music CDs as well as anime soundtracks. And it has an ftp site with game music midifiles on it. There's also an incoming directory where you can upload new files:

mushi.net
This site is maintained by Atsushi Fukai, who contributed many Game Music midifiles to the Listener's Section. Go there to get even more nice midis. Atsushi's files are generally optimized for Roland's SC-88. The above link leads to the English page, but there's also a Japanese version

Bjorn Lynne's music in computer- and console games
Bjorn "Dr.Awesome" Lynne is a synthesizer artist who also made some Game Music, for example for the games Worms, Qwak, Project-X and Fantastic Voyage. He also made many (non-game-music) CDs. From the link above, you can download sound clips and music modules of Lynne's creations. Have fun!

Jeff's MIDI page
This personal Game Music midi page is maintained by Jeffrey M. Colletti. He's sequencing Game Music himself and offers his works to you to download. You can find tunes from Legend of Zelda, Ultima VI and more.

REPG Fan

Chris Hülsbeck Mediaproduction
Chris Hülsbeck is a Game Music composer famous for his C64 tunes way back and Amiga and video console Game Music today. This is the WWW site of his own production company. Very recommended for all Hülsbeck-fans.

The Protoman Homepage
The ideal place for all Mega Man fans. There are tons of sections and most important midi files from all Mega Man games, the most complete collection. However they're not directly downloadable and are started by the browser.

This is a fan site for the game company Zuntata. There are mainly WAVs from Zuntata games. Web pages for Zuntata are rare so this might be the chance for you if you're a Zuntata-fan.

C64Audio.com
The C64 nostalgia probably never ends. On this site you can download a ton of C64 Game Music from all the famous composers. There are Midi and also binary audio files. Many texts are included, too. You can even buy a CD titled Back in Time and it's sequel (soon).

LucasArts music
A personal page of Joonas Linkola. It contains a whole pack of music from LucasArts games, mainly from the Monkey Island series. There are files of three different formats: MIDI, MOD and MP3. Definitely a great site for Monkey Island fans. The main site, LucasFans with more resources for LucasArts game can be found here.

Quest Studios - Sierra Soundtrack Series
Here are dozens of original midis from Sierra On-Line games. Quest Studios maintains the Roland MT-32 Sound Module Resource Center which the Sierra page is a part of. Therefore all files are in MT-32 format. However many files are also available in GM format. The Resource Center is here.

Ultima Fans hold on! This is the ultimate site for Ultima Game Music. On these very impressive pages are the complete soundtracks of all Ultima games ever produced. Yes, also from Martian Dreams, Savage Empire and the two Underworld games. And even Ultima Online - Shattered Legacy! If you're an Ultima fan, what do you still do here? Follow the link. midi.net - Game Music section
The above link leads to the Game Music midi file section at midi.net, a huge and impressive archive of midi files. There are really tons of them. I'm grateful for the Game Music section, however. Soon they will have an on-line magazine there. Some of my PC archives are or will be links to this site.

This is a collection of musics from MSX games (for those of you who don"t know: that's an 8-bit home computer standard very popular at it's time in Japan) in Real Audio format. The Assimilated Game MIDI Collection
A page owned by Justin Horn (e-mail: hornlinks@hotmail.com, who submits his own sequenced files there. There are quite many of them and additionally, the page has some interesting features like an audio quiz, a poll and a search engine. Among the many games are Castlevania, Lufia, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Phantasy Star.

The Rainmaker's Game Music World
